Background & Purpose
The Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA) owns about 80 acres of wetland and hemlock forest west of the Cheese Factory. Water leaves the water treatment plant is pumped into the wetland before it enters the Wilson River. Windward has been monitoring water quality.
Project purpose: to create a wetland to treat warm effluent from TCCA treatment facility and monitor TCCA wetland for temperature, bacteria, vegetation change, and water quality.
